Polecat Creek - Ordinary Seasons

Polecat Creek's newest release, Ordinary Seasons, follows on the heels of 2004's critically acclaimed Leaving Eden. While still rooted in traditional music, the songs of Ordinary Seasons are of 2007 - tales of life and death, love and loss, all grounded in language of the natural world. With the foundation of Laurelyn Dossett and Kari Sickenberger offering up their dazzling songwriting and stunning command of vocal harmony, Polecat Creek once again showcases the talents of Riley Baugus on banjo and guitar, and introduces talented young fiddler Natalya Weinstein and mandolin player Eric Robertson. It was recorded and produced by Grammy-winning Steven Heller, known for his work with artists ranging from Doc Watson to Toubab Krewe.
