Ex Deo - Romulus

Ex Deo is the brainchild of Kataklysm vocalist Maurizio Iacono and is a tribute to his Italian heritage and the rich culture of ancient Rome. Ex Deo pay homage to arguably the most influential ancient civilization with anthemic songs glorifying the epic battles of ancient Rome, all set to a death metal soundtrack as brutal as the war obsessed times the Romans lived in. While Kataklysm show no signs of slowing down anytime soon, Ex Deo are more than a studio band as they will make their live debut this fall as part of Paganfest Europe! They will then come Stateside alongside former Paganfest USA headliners Ensiferum and Eluveitie. ROMULUS includes guest musicians from Behemoth, Nile and Keep of Kalessin and promises to surprise and impress death metal and pagan metal fans worldwide!
