Neurosonic - Drama Queen

Neurosonic is the brainchild of Canadian Jason Darr, a multi-instrumentalist with a penchant for industrial grooves, hard-rock riffage, and big, catchy choruses tailored for mainstream appeal. Drama Queen, Neurosonic's 2006 debut, brings all of these elements together to impressive effect. Whether on the swiveling metal groove of "Are Solar," the amped-up, Beatles-esque melodicism of "I Will Always Be Your Fool," or the soaring power ballad "Fearless" (which practically demands a lighter held aloft), Darr keeps things heavy, texturally interesting, and plenty accessible.
