Howlin' Wolf began his 20-year recording career with the Chess label in 1951; this release contains his most successful rhythm and blues charting songs including "Moonin' at Midnight," "How Many More Years" (with Ike Turner on piano), "Who Will Be Next" and "I Asked for Water." Also included here is his final chart hit, "Evil," which was released in 1969 and featured fellow bluesmen Gene Bauge, Hubert Sumlin and Phil Upchurch.
