Songwriter Gerald Smith is from Statesboro, Georgia, and has resided in Nashville for the past eighteen years. A prolific writer, Smith has penned such number one songs as 'What Part Of No Don't You Understand' for Lorrie Morgan and 'Every Second' for Collin Raye.
