Peter Scattaretico has been playing drums professionally for 35 years, and has a long list of credentials in the jazz scene, performing with notable jazz artists such as, Warren Marsh, Eddie Gomez, Harvey Scwartz, Michael Moore, Red Mitchell, Sal Mosca, Connie Crothers, Gerri Mulligan, John Bunch, Peter Prisco, Earl Sauls, and Lenni Popkin. He has performed at well known venues including, but not limited to; Lincoln Center, Carnagie Hall, Village Vanguard NYC, Fat Tuesdays NYC, Town Hall NYC, Lou Lou Whites in Boston, The Ritz, etc. He has performed on records such as; Jazz Records' 'Lenny Tristano Memorial Concert Live At Town Hall'; Lenny Popkin, 'Falling Free'; and Peter Prisco's: 'It's About Time' Peter Prisco has played and taught in the greater metropolitan N.Y.C. area for the last 35 years.He has studied at length with masters Dick Evans and Chuck Wayne. Peter also spent 12 years studying under the great Tristano disciple Sal Mosca. Mr. Prisco has had long standing duos with bass legends Vinnie Burke and Bill Crow.He has performed with such jazz greats as Warne Marsh, Carmen Leggio, Don Joseph, Caeser DeMauro, Sal Nestico and Eddie Bert. Peter has been featured many times at famous New Jersey jazz clubs Gulliver's and also Trumpets. For the last six years he has been a member of the Carmen Leggio Band. Appearing frequently in concert. Mr. Prisco is currently on the faculty at C.U.N.Y. College of Staten Island campus.
