Dean Shostak - World Glass

Dean Shostak CD World Glass takes listeners into a new world of sound and music through the discovery of glass instruments from around the world. Dean's collection of glass instruments that he performs in concerts are featured here for the first time. They include Franklin's glass armonica, Japanese Hario glass violin, American glass bowed psalery and crystal handbells, French cristal Baschet, and an 1820's glass grand harmonicon. The songs on the CD are a mixture of classical, traditional, and original music. Also featured on World Glass are the handbell superstars The Raleigh Ringers, and Jacqueline Schwab on piano.
