Wisdom Teeth - Wisdom Teeth

Wisdom Teeth from Olympia Washington was formed in the closing days of 2006. The trio (Matt Lebens, Forrest Peaker and Mark Rentfrow) were drawn to the idea that they could create a sound outside of what was being championed by the local labels in a scene that had in more recent years become known for it's more subtle and subdued artists. The primary results took shape in a self titled 5 song EP, released on the Radio Is Down label. The songs are indicative of the idea that music can be fast, intelligent and lyrically driven without relying on excessive screaming, unintelligible vocals or the standard 1-2 beat. The end result is the sound of a band that creates music as evocative and sometimes unsettling as the name. This is Wisdom Teeth.
