Alison Rice - Wagon Wheel Rut

Alison has emerged as an engaging songwriter, relflecting the deep roots of country/western and folk tradition. She is a veteran of Oregon's Portland music scene, having performed with the popular Northwest bands, Country Al and His Pals, Trigger's Revenge, Yankee Hula, and as a duo with Keeter Stuart. From stone cold c & w to folk, Wagon Wheel Rut is a great collection of music, multi-layered and receiving great reviews. Her performing band, that is garnering local acclaim, are Dan Miller (acoustic guitar), Birger Olsen (mandolin/slide guitar/singer and songwriter), Rob Schrecongost (bass),and Hal Gerard (acoustic guitar and vocals). Alison Rice and The Wheel are soon to release a new collection of material. They are currently performing in the Portland area.
