For more than a decade, Cowboy Mouth has traveled the country, playing to more than 8 million fans and selling more than a half million records. Cake Magazine says, "On a bad night, they'll tear the roof off the joint, and on a good night, they'll save your soul." Now, New Orleans' favorite rock band is back on the scene with "Voodoo Shoppe", Cowboy Mouth's first studio release in three years. The new album features guest appearances from friends like legendary bassist George Porter and was produced by Russ T Cobb (Avril Lavigne, Butch Walker) with additional tracks produced by Mitch Allen (SR-71), Mark Bryan (Hootie & the Blowfish) and Louisiana's Mike Mayeaux. The twelve new songs, including two written after Hurricane Katrina devastated the band'shometown, showcase Cowboy Mouth's powerful, heartfelt songwriting. To assist fellow gulf-coast citizens displaced by flooding, the band is allocating a portion of proceeds from each CD to the Cowboy Mouth Hurricane Relief Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization the band established in Katrina's aftermath.
