These 1951 live recordings show the Stan Kenton Orchestra at it's finest, with an incredible lineup of talent, apart from the Jay Johnson vocals, the rest of the CD is a powerful tour de force of some of Stan's greatest hits. We we make no apologies for including two excellent but very different versions of Eager Beaver the first version including a slight interwoven version of Les Brown's theme leapfrog.
