Evocative and impassioned, mischievous and sultry, Nichole Alden is on a perpetual quest for her next musical exploration. Upon release of her self-produced debut effort, Under the Skin, ALDEN put together a 5-piece band and quickly made herself a fixture in Los Angeles' highly competitive live music scene. After a few years of extensive live presence, she found herself back in the studio writing custom tracks for both major and independent films including "What Died" licensed to Sony Pictures for it's top-grossing horror film "The Fog" and "It's a Party" used in it's entirety as the opening credit song for Ariel Vromen's independent film "Rx: Simple Lies." Recently, ALDEN gained international exposure through a series of television commercial licensing deals with AUDI, Peugeot, and Harley Davidson. These spots aired extensively throughout Europe, South America, Australia, and Asia, prompting Warner Music Taiwan to feature "So Beautiful (Not Looking Back)" as the opening track on it's CF, Movie & Drama HITS CD, which also included songs by Damien Rice, James Blunt, and others. Following a considerable buzz in places as far reaching as Taiwan, Brazil, and Australia, ALDEN released her Lost Into Experience EP in the spring of 2009. She is currently in the studio writing and recording more original material she describes as "something between Nina Simone and Trent Reznor." ALDEN is pursuing additional licensing opportunities and expects to release her third album in the summer of 2009.
