Kenny Carr - Turn the Page

Jazz guitarist Kenny Carr's "Turn the Page" is an original assortment of radio-friendly melodies with an underlying influence of blues as he draws upon his decade of experience playing guitar for Ray Charles. The CD features 2005 Grammy-nominated tenor saxophonist Donny McCaslin as well as highlighting nationally renowned acoustic bassist Tom Baldwin. New York-based organist John Dryden and drummer Frank Russo complete the esteemed list of talented musicians appearing on this CD. This, Kenny Carr's sophomore release, is a much anticipated follow-up to his critically-acclaimed and well-received debut CD "Friday at Five" (TSM #4223).
