Chumbawamba - Tubthumper

Chumbawamba was formed in North England in the Thatcherite '80s. Influenced by the DIY ethos of punk, they began spewing out a mixture of politics, pop culture and loud, loud noise. Along with a rep for being one of the best live bands in the U.K., almost every one of their 9 albums has reached the top of the U.K. indie charts. This set, which mixes dance beats, rousing pop choruses and subversive ideas, shows off Chumbawamba's love of pop without being shallow. 1st single: "Tubthumping."
