Plaka Band - Time to Sing, a Time to Dance

The Plaka Band, Notis Contoplianos and Kathy Sherman, have performed together for well over 20 years. Their repertoire of several hundred Greek songs and dances make them a sought after duo. Their first CD together, 'New Songs of Old Athens' was a contender for the Grammy Award in the World Music category. Their second CD, 'A Time to Sing, A Time to Dance' is a collection of some of their favorite songs.
