London's Clientele released a series of 7-inch singles on various small imprints from 1998-2001, which were later collected on one release, "Suburban Light". The subsequent critical acclaim raised the trio from underground cult status to full blown pop phenomenon. This, their first full-length, promises to further cement their status. Languid melodies and delicate choruses combine to transport the listener to a hazy dreamlike world of witty and sardonic tales of love, loss, possibilities, and dreams. A beautiful chamber pop masterpiece that is eloquent and sparse, yet never lacking in lush sound scapes.
