Second Chance is a feature-length motion picture starring Michael W. Smith and Jeff Obafemi Carr. With an inner-city setting and an emphasis on racial and economic harmony within the body of Christ the music of the film is by design quite diverse ranging from Gospel to rock with original instrumental scoring by Michael W. Smith providing a sort of musical glue that holds the piece together. Featuring performances by Casting Crowns, Third Day, Fred Hammond, TobyMac and Donnie McClurkin, plus the title cut co-written by Steve Taylor and Michael W. Smith and performed by Michael W. Smith.
