Buddy Rich - New One

The 3rd LP by the explosive Buddy Rich Big Band was his 1st studio album and included most of the music they performed on the CBS TV variety show Take It Away. As usual, Rich gathered superb charts from arrangers like Bill Holman and Oliver Nelson, among others. Soloists include Ernie Watts, Jay Corre and Chuck Finley. The album's CD debut features new remixing and 5 bonus tracks (including "Diabolus," which features the whole band on percussion in one section).
