Jesse Malin is a native New York City singer/songwriter born out of hardcore punk and rock-n-roll. The Fine Art of Self-Destruction is a truly stunning solo debut, evoking thoughts of Neil Young, Lou Reed, Joe Strummer and Paul Westerberg. Like these aritst before him, Jesse's musical path has evolved from the harder edged sound of his earlier band (D Generation) to new songs that are still edgy, but more soulful and expressive. Featuring guest appearances by Melisa Auf der Maur (Smashing Pumpkins, Hole) and Joe McGinty (Ween Spacehog).
