2004 is a significant year for Verity Records, as it marks the 10th Anniversary of the leading gospel record label. Kee was the first artist signed to Verity Records, & has been an integral part of the label's roster since it's inception. In an effort to pay homage to the legacy of this decade-long partnership, Verity Records & John P. Kee present the Color of Music. The celebrated & revered Prince of Gospel Music has remained a staple in gospel music since his foray into the genre with the New Life Community Choir, & remains one of the most recognizable voices of our time. Kee is unquestionably one of the founders of contemporary gospel music, & has remained at the forefront of musicianship & ministry during his tenure as a gospel recording artist. His career solo & collaborative efforts total over 1,000,000 units sold! The Color of Music is Kee's first solo recording since 1994's prolific Colorblind.
