One of the first to fuse Death Metal with industrial samplings to produce a full blown sonic assault, Fear Factory formed in Los Angeles in 1990. Shortly after signing to Roadrunner Records in 1992, the band's debut album, Soul of a New Machine was released. The band has gone on to establish themselves at the forefront of metal with critical acclaim.
