Michael McGinnis - Tangents

Saxophone/clarinetist Michael McGinnis' new release is a paean to being in the moment. Michael writes music specific to the players with an approach akin to chamber music that incorporates improvisation and allows each player to contribute to the outcome of the composition. Features trumpeter Shane Endsley, pianist Jacob Sacks, bassist Dave Ambrosio, drummer Mark Dodge and special guest vocalist Anna Dagmar Johnson.
