Taake - Taake

TAAKE was started in 1993 by sole songwriter Hoest. Inspired by the pioneers of the genre, the band is known for their dynamic mix of early 90's black metal, 80's black thrash and northern folk music. With the release of the 4th studio album simply entitled Taake, it's clear that TAAKE is more dedicated than ever to keeping the old spirit of True Norwegian Black Metal alive. The album has everything that defines the scene, from the ice cold all Norwegian melodies to the catchy and foul necroriffs spit forth from the darkest depths. With their intense, unique and unpredictable dynamics, TAAKE delivers yet again an essential album. The perfect cold, dark, winter soundtrack.
