Vertigo Venus is a synthpunk band from Albuquerque, NM. A hardworking band, they have recently begun to gain momentum in the underground punk and rock scenes, emerging as a powerhouse Five-piece with an ability to entertain like no other. 'S.O.S.', the first EP by the band's current lineup of Jeff Cannon (vocals/synths) Chris Cannon (Guitars/backing vocals), Ken Cornell (bass), brian botkiller (Drums) and Jessica Crockett (synths), finds the band with more vitality than ever. The EP includes the power opener, 'Spy vs. Spy', the heavy-beat 'Everybody Down', and the band's unique take on Cyndi Lauper's 'She-Bop', as well as the sing-along-like-you-mean-it 'Punkrock Cheerleader', and other tracks sure to entertain listeners of all types. Producer Joey Belville (of the Echoing Green) has brought the band to new levels with this recording, drawing a sound out of the group never heard before, and unmatched by any act found in popular music. A powerful cocktail of Punk rock mashed again Glam and 80's Electro-rock, 'S.O.S.' is exploding onto radio stations and personal music players everywhere.
