Thurman Barker - Strike Force

A percussion ensemble with a varied and diverse palette, working with interesting compositions that contain a strong melodic content and a strong rhythmic drive. Features a guest appearance by the Imani Winds, a woodwind quintet that performs Barker's composition "Rise And Shine", also features Eileen Folson, a cellist who performs with the Uptown String Quartet is heard on "Manhattan Junction".
