Ma'an - Stories of the Heart

The idea for 'Stories Of The Heart' came in the middle of the night. After becoming a believer in 1992, the world of music opened up to me and I started writing songs that related to events in my Christian walk. The most heartfelt is 'The First And The Last Time', a song that talks about how the stillbirth of our twin sons led both my husband and I to become believers. Over the years, I've had the chance to work with many talented Christian artists and 36 of those artists joined me in creating this project. It gives a variety to the entire album. Each song has a different sound, even though all the songs were written by one person. There was a great spirit of comraderie among all the artists, which came through the night we presented the CD release concert, 'Stories Of The Heart - A Night Of Testimony'. An integral part of this CD is the 'storybook' that accompanies it. The story of why each song was written is included and is a 'must read' to receive the full benefit. These songs are a window to my soul. May it be a blessing to you.
