Echoes in Absence - Stories

All the songs were written by singer songwriter Jonathan Park in the small town of Benicia, California. After hearing these songs, older brother Chris Park added in his alternative rock stylings to produce a rock record that everyone could listen and relate to, their first EP, Stories. The album starts off with the upbeat, pop chord structure of A Stories Ending. Telling the stories of heartbreak, Airplanes embodies the unwillingness to let one's love go. Half-heartedly cuts through the record with booming drums and catchy guitar melodies, reflecting the anguish of a sharp, bitter betrayl. Fading Fabrics, spoken in soft whispers, expresses the reality of loss exploding into heartfelt remembrance. Stay the Night finishes out the record with fixing the fragments of a broken relationship.
