Andy Laird - Step Out of Line

Andy Laird is a magnetic performer whose powerful voice and intimate songwriting create a unique form of soulful alternative rock. Blending an emotional intensity, that evokes other artists such as Jeff Buckley, with a pop sensibility (think U2, Peter Gabriel, David Gray), Andy's melodic songs convey a passion and mystery that has intrigued a loyal fan base. Based in Brooklyn, Andy has immersed himself in the local scene playing both as a solo artist and alongside members of the jazz, avant-garde, funk, and alt-rock communities. His current lineup is a trio which includes the talents of Dana Leong on cello and Ziv Ravitz on drums. Recorded in Brooklyn, Andy's debut EP, 'Step Out Of Line', was released earlier this year and has already received significant radio attention.
