"Star Gazer" is a jazz inflected journey through the distant reaches of space, the music featured includes a lot of it. All the cuts are from the 70's, a fruitful and productive period for many jazz musicians who branched out and wholeheartedly embraced new music and technology, disco, funk and rock sensibilities were to change the face of popular jazz in the wake of Miles Davis' experiments with electronic instruments.
