After a whirlwind tour up the east coast in the summer of 2005, The Tomatoes returned to their studio headquarters in New Orleans to record the one-off single "Standing (Right Next To You)" - a song the band had then recently incorporated into their live set. Also recorded as a b-side was "I Gotta Dance", a song that would eventually make it onto their second full-length release Trendy. During the tour, the band accumulated footage of their first-ever trip to New York, which can now be seen in the video for "Standing." 'There are a lot of bands claiming to be the return of Rock and Roll. With songs like 'Standing (Right Next To You), The Tomatoes take a stand and show them how it's done.' - Jeremy J. Deibel, offBEAT Magazine.
