"Jack of all trades; master of none," is how the saying goes. Take a listen to "Soy Americano" to check out if this albumn qualifies. You might be pleasantly surprised. Born in California in 1948, moved to Argentina at the age of twelve with my popular singer mom. At 15 I became interested in the guitar so my mother sent me to Mario Ferré, a table-to-table night club singer. Thanks to his extensive repetoire, I learned calypso, jazz, bossa nova, other latin styles and more. My interest in many musical styles continues to influence my song writing and accounts for the eclectic sound of this album. I thank all my teachers, especially my mother. I give you Soy Americano. I hope you enjoy it.
