Lee Galloway has been enthralling audiences in Southern California for years with his unique contemporary piano sound. National and international attention came when his expressive piano solo arrangement of the much-loved 'Canon in D' shot to the top of the charts on mp3.com in 2000. Although classically trained and a lover of the romantic piano repertoire, his contemporary piano sound comes from the heart. Lee Galloway believes that the experience of music should change the listener in some uplifting way. His ability to touch his listeners is proven by the success of his solo CD, 'Soothing the Soul' which his fans buy in multiples to spread the word by giving to friends. Lee Galloway played lead piano in the 1988 Superbowl Halftime Show (with a TV audience of over 100 million) playing for Chubby Checker and the New York City Rockettes, has been featured on NBC Morning News and was musical coach for the acclaimed CBS television mini-series, 'Shake, Rattle and Roll' in 1998. He continues to perform, compose and coach budding musical talents in his hometown of San Diego, California.
