Roger Flyer is a singer-songwriter and pastor from Minnesota. Since 1984, he and his wife Marnie have sung for more than a million children and adults and recorded two critically acclaimed CD's as the well-known children's duo--The Flyers. The Chicago Sun Times says: '...sheer talent...wonderful singers...genuine warmth...' Roger has served full time as a pastor the last eight years, and now, with the release of 'songs hidden in eggs', he hopes to connect with people who have found themselves wandering in spiritual exile and those trying to find their way back home in these rumbling times. The songs explore themes of spiritual crossroads, personal responsibility, human destiny and radical trust in God. The project features collaborations with some of Minnesota's most brilliant musicians and songwriters including Joel Hanson of PFR, Ben Kyle of Romantica, legendary fiddle and mandolin player Peter Ostroushko, accordionist Dan Newton, violinist Jessy Greene of Wilco, multi-instrumentalist whiz Matt Patrick, and newcomers--The Cates.
