In 1996 Terry Allen's Human Remains was released to overwhelming critical applause. Now two of his early albums that have never been in national distribution are released together. Smokin' the Dummy was recorded in 1980 in Lubbock, TX and has been called, "A flat out masterpiece with tunes about Jesus, cocaine, and a tornado that rains prairie dogs over Lubbock Texas."
