Blindside - Silence

After two acclaimed full-length indie releases and extensive touring in Europe and the U.S., Blindside has signed with Elektra for their major label debut, Silence, which was produced by Howard Benson (P.O.D., Sepultura, Motorhead, many more). "I met them through P.O.D., who had been blown away by how talented they were" says Howard. "Their style is simple but explosive, with a lot of complexity swirling around underneath the surface." P.O.D. are such fans, in fact, that they signed the scorching Swedish foursome to their new 3 Points label, and invited them to appear in their latest video, "Boom". Blindside was also featured in the P.O.D. episode of "Making of the Video" on MTV. Sonny of P.O.D. says, "They play with such a high level of emtoion. I believe they will be the next big thing in rock. Silence is by far the best album of the year.
