Broadway Cast - Side Show / O.C.R.

The 1st musical of the Broadway season has opened, and it's a winner! Side Show tells the dramatic story of Daisy & Violet Hilton (played by Alice Ripley and Emily Skinner), Siamese twins who rose from the seedy world of the carnival side show to become vaudeville stars in the 1920's and '30s. The score was composed by Henry Krieger, who received a Grammy Award as well as nominations for the Tony and Drama Desk Awards for his score for the 1981 musical Dreamgirls, and also wrote the score for '83s the Tap Dance Kid.
