Formed in 1996 in Vienna, Austria, Sofa Surfers have been making music before the "downtempo" label was coined. On SEE THE LIGHT their ESL Music debut. Thievery Corporation select the finest cuts from the Sofa Surfers previous three albums. Also included are Richard Dorfmeister's remix of "Sofa Rocker" which appeared on the legendary K&D Sessions and Thievery Corp's R&B take on "Can I Get Witness" SEE THE LIGHT is a romp through soul, dub and hip hopwith vocal collaboration from Junior Delgado, Sesnational, DJ Collage and Dawna Lee among others.
