Big Mama Thornton - Sassy Mama

Big Mama Thornton has one great claim to fame, her rousing blues song "Hound Dog", a hit that a young man named Elvis Presley made famous 3 years later. Although she was never able to recapture the "Hound Dog" fame, her career was long and quite prolific. SASSY MAMA was recorded live at the Rising Sun Celebrity Jazz Club on April 12, 1977.
