Shanghai, China. The most populated city on Earth. In this chaotic swirl of sweat and pollution, six ex-pats threw their collective influences together for a steaming bowl of yúchì tang. Building from their first release, 2013's Full Circle, a split with Florida's now defunct and sorely missed art-core gods, Libyan Hit Squad, Round Eye creates a unified whole out of punk rock, free jazz, doo-wop, country, experimental and traditional Chinese music for a unique sound that could only have come from the Far East. Forget the Sheep, 2015 is the Year of Round Eye. Be thankful you're here to witness it.
