Big Beat returns to the Great Northwest to anthologize the legendary Etiquette label, founded & run by those architects of Northwest rock 'n' roll, the Wailers. This compilation focuses on the other NW garage bands that the Wailers signed, producing & releasing masters on some of the finest combos to emerge from that hallowed region. 'Required Etiquette' documents the label's output from 1964-1966, & most of it has never been reissued in any form. Artists featured include the Sonics (presenting several unissued alternate versions of Sonics' classics), the Galaxies, the Bootmen, & the Rooks. 24 tracks plus a 16-page booklet with some cool pics & complete notes on the story of Etiquette & the bands. Big Beat/Ace Records. 2003.
