Flavio - Recuerdos de los Caminos Memories from the Roads

A variety of songs from the Andes I recorded this CD with my band NOSOTROS now I perform as a soloist playing traditional flutes, especially the panpipe flutes from South-America. Flavio listened to these beautiful flutes while in Mexico and became "enchanted" by the exotic and haunting sounds. "Is amazing how you can create beautiful music with such simple reed pipes," he said, and on his performances he uses a wide variety of flutes such as: quena, quenacho, panpipe flute, sikus, sanka, Malta, ika, rondador, etc. The songs he plays range from the sooth and ease sounds to the joyful and festive ones. His repertoire includes not only Andean music but all Latin Pop and International music suitable for all types of events. Flavio performs around the southwest mainly in concerts and festivals, and he is a multi instrumentalist beside the flutes he also play guitar and sing traditional Latin ballads he also plays cuatro from Venezuela and Charango.
