Postcards From Lonesome Don Wilkie is a rich gumbo of styles showcaseing Wilkies song writing and guitar playing. Wilkie has worked and traveled to places such as the Artic Circle,the Gulf of Mexico,Hawaii and Asia and on this recording he pays musical homage to some of his influences. There are three solo acoustic guitar instumentals done in the Hawaiian Slack Key style,some musical postcards also from Louisiana,featureing some soulfull bottleneck slide, there's even some celtic sea shanty fare.
