The wait is over. Jonezetta's "Popularity" has arrived as perhaps the most anticipated Tooth & Nail debut album to date. Much like neo-new wave giants the Killers and Franz Ferdinand, Jonezetta is on a mission to rejuvenate a pop-rock landscape that has been tread by epic bands such as the Cure. Like the rich blues embedded in the Mississippi soil around them, "Popularity" is full of mood and atmosphere, with hooks that slice through the fog the way song titles like "Hot Machete" and "Backstabber" would suggest.
