Katie Melua - Pictures

At the age of 18, Katie was discovered by the prolific British producer Mike Batt and eventually signed to his label Dramatico. Katie's first album, CALL OFF THE SEARCH, was released to excellent reviews. Soon after release, Katie performed on the Royal Variety Show and almost overnight, her album shot to the top of the UK album chart. She became the biggest selling female artist for the next several years. In due course, Katie's second album, PIECE BY PIECE, was released landing at #1 on the UK album chart and spawned a top 5 single with the song Nine Million Bicycles. At 24, Katie has made the transition to the US with her first two albums garnering critical acclaim and building a very solid sales story. PICTURES will be her third release in the US.
