Having roots in the acoustic rock & roll of the 70's, such as America, Jim Croce and the Eagles, Ken started playing the 'Ground Round' circuit in the Milwaukee area. After several years of that he found a natural gravitation toward country music. He made a solid name for himself in country music circles in the Midwest. Being lead singer/frontman for regionally successful bands 'Showdown' and 'Midnight Highway,' he entertained thousands with his singing, songwriting and stage presence. In his stints with those bands, Ken had the opportunity to work with over 40 national acts. Ken's songwriting is strong and heartfelt. He can get your toes tapping or tug at your heart strings. Ken says, 'Living in Nashville for a couple years helped my songwriting immensely. When you're around people that do that for a living it can't help but rub off on you. It's almost like osmosis.' Listening to Ken's songs, it's easy to tell that the time in Nashville was well spent.
