Trout Fishing in America has a longstanding reputation as one of the most energetic, innovative live acts on the touring circuit. When they tried to release an album that captured that spirit, however, their career turned into a fisherman's tale about the one that got away. The duo just couldn't seem to reel in the big one-until they released their latest disc, 'Over the Limit.' Comprised of bassist Keith Grimwood, who is a little over 5 feet 5 inches, and guitarist Ezra Idlet, who stands at 6 feet 9 inches, Trout Fishing in America is both aurally and visually striking-a self-described 'power duo'and 'A&R nightmare.' TFIA's music has always been characterized as a sound that seems too large to come from just two musicians. The 13 cuts on 'Over the Limit', which werewritten by Grimwood and Idlet, range from the upbeat anthem 'Just a Little While' to the plaintively touching 'Lori's Song' to the offbeat 'Dead Egyptian Blues.'
