Steven Richard Lindholm - Out of the Hive

Steven Richard Lindholm knows the importance of engaging a child, to stimulate their imagination, through appealing songs and skits. He wants to encourage children to use their imaginations to help them understand the world around them. Steven Richard Lindholm's program is engaging and engrossing. The children will be introduced to a broad range of feelings, and emotions that are expressed through a variety of songs and skits. Students participate throughout the program by singing, clapping, hand motions, rhythm instruments and humorous skits. A few of the songs performed include original compositions such as, 'The Sandbox Song', 'Henrietta', and 'When Donkeys Fly', to name a few. The objective of 'The Sandbox Song' is to show rhythm through participation with rhythm instruments. 'Henrietta' is a fun and imaginative song, which is expanded to demonstrate the ways chickens communicate. 'When Donkeys Fly', is a song whose purpose is to show that we can interact with others who have a disability in the same manner we would with anyone else. Steven uses this song to express that everyone is so very special.
