Out of print in the U.S.! Second solo album from the Split Enz, Finn Brothers and Crowded House singer/songwriter, released as One All in the U.S. This original version of the album features different mixes of some of the tracks as well as 'Elastic Heart' and 'Don't Ask Why' which were not included on the domestic version (they were replaced by 'Lullaby Requiem' and 'Human Kindness'). Neil Finn is a household name in Australia and has the reputation of being one of the greatest songwriters in the world. One Nil is classic Neil Finn, while collaborators Wendy Melvoin and Lisa Coleman (part of Prince's Revolution in the early '80s) weave a subtle influence on this record too. Great pop structures swell into this album's dense layers of instrumentation and insightful lyrics. One Nil is classic songwriting at it's best. EMI.
