Nothing To Die is the result of 221 hours of recording spanning 70 days, using 21 different instruments to play 11 songs, which altogether contain 1,547 words, and it all adds up to 46 minutes and 51 seconds of music. The record is a winding journey through confused songs about love, lighthearted songs about death, anthems to willpower, and desolate songs about living, plus a single delirious lullaby. After years of playing in traditional groups, Alex and Noah struck out on their own as a two-man band in Los Angeles, CA. Their longstanding interest in electronic beats inspired them to try an MPC - a beat machine often used by hip-hop artists. With Noah's two keyboards mixing with Alex's acoustic guitar and both of their voices blending together, their own unique brand of folktronic music comes to life.
