A Day in the Life was formed in 2001 by lead singer JT Woodruff. ADITL quickly started taking over the local scene in their hometown of Dayton, Ohio, and soon found a partner in Confuined Records. This partnership leads to the album NINE REASONS TO SAY GOODBYE. Over the next two years ADITL went through may line-up changes and in the spring of 2003 a Day in the Life changed their name to Hawthorne Heights and signed to Victory Records in late 2003. In the pat two years Hawthorne Heights has become one of the hottest bands in America and has scanned over a million copies. NINE REASONS TO SAY GOODBYE shows the raw natural talent of Woodruff and gives an early glimpse of what would become Hawthrone Heights.
